This regional fact sheet, jointly developed by UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok, ARNEC, and the GPE KIX EMAP Hub, provides an overview of the state of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) in the Asia-Pacific region. Drawing on the latest data and evidence, it highlights key trends, persistent challenges, and promising practices. The factsheet aims to support policy dialogue, regional collaboration, and increased investment in ECCE to accelerate progress toward SDG Target 4.2.
