This case study has been produced by a team from Sri Lanka in the context of the KIX EMAP Learning Cycle “Secondary Teacher Workforce Management”, held in collaboration with the UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP). It presents an analysis of secondary teacher workforce in Sri Lanka, including teacher requirements, deployment and utilisation, along with policy and practice recommendations.
